    Abstract

    As a simple, low-cost, maskless, non-contact digital preparation process with a wide selection of substrates and ink materials, inkjet printing was widely used in many fields. Pixelated blue OLED devices, with a hole injection layer of PEDOT∶PSS and emitting layer of PFSO, have been prepared using inkjet printing technology, combined with vapor deposition of Ba and Al cathodes. The ink droplet ejection characteristics were controlled by precisely adjusting the driving parameters of the nozzle, and flat light-emitting pixel arrays had been obtained through adjusting the ink tension and viscosity. The proposed devices show a maximum brightness of 1 100 cd/m2 and external quantum efficiency of 1.1%.
