The common comparative measurement method is analyzed, and some difficulties of this method are pointed out when the laser scattering characteristic for the nature ground objects is measured. Based on the principle of the comparative measurement method, the measurement method is improved, and a near field measurement method which is based on the omni-directional measurement and the energy conversion contrast is designed. It can improve the measurement efficiency and precision of the laser scattering characteristic for the nature ground objects.
