Abstract

At first, the development history of gas waveguide laser, hollow-core optical fiber gas lasers and solid-state waveguide laser is reviewed. And then, the working principles of the two kinds of lasers are introduced respectively. At last, the future research is prospected and analyzed according to the development status of the two kinds of lasers.
