An optical fiber connection loss measurement scheme based on fiber Raman effect is proposed, and the calculation formula of the scheme is introduced. The accuracy of connection loss measurement for ordinary single mode optical fibers is simulated. Through this technology scheme, the loss of optical fiber connectors can be tested in work site of optical fiber fusion, so the efficiency of optical cable project construction can be significantly improved.
