    Abstract

    Research on the time and space distribution of laser beam on target is an important step of laser effect analysis. A method is designed to identify the touching points of laser beam on target using imaging simulation. In the method, the laser beam and targets are modeled, the field of view is determined according to the characteristics of the laser beam, and the distribution of the light spot is determined by simulating the imaging process, including project coordinate converting, visibility culling, edge selecting of projection surface, projection point indexing calculation and pixel padding. The method and the dynamic setting of the scene are used to determine the time and space distribution of laser beam on target, which provides important support to laser effect analysis.
