In this paper, YAG Lidar Technology applied in atmosphere environment monitoring at home or abroad and its developing trends in this field are disscussed. On this basis, there is a review on the development in this field combined with the latest application features of YAG Lidar Technology. And it indicates that the machine-carried and satellite-carried technology of this kind will be developed, and the technology of diode pumped lidar will be widely applied.
