Operating range prediction of infrared imaging system

In infrared imaging system, all false and unnecessary signal are called noise. The existence of the noiseinterferes detection for useful signal, and affects system operating range. Moving point target detection based on order morphology filtering

To resolve the movingpoint target detection problem under the condition of low SNR, a new point targetdetection algorithm based on generalized edge extracted by order morphology filtering ispresented. Two steps of point target detection are adopted. In the design, the narrow pulse is expanded into 100μs square wave in its peak, in order to measure altitude ofthe pulse and sample continously for a long time. The sample is controlled by base signalor itself. The base signal or reflective wave signal is expanded into 5～50μs square wave and the sample is triggered by its riseedge.
